1. About Abilene Appliance Repair Co.

Abilene Appliance Repair Co. is a locally owned and operated appliance repair business located at 334 Chestnut St, Abilene, TX 79602. We provide repair services for major household appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, microwaves, ice makers, garbage disposals, and water heaters across Abilene and Taylor County, Texas.

2. Service Appointments

When you schedule a service appointment with us we will provide an estimated arrival window. While we strive for same-day service and accurate arrival times, actual arrival may vary due to traffic, weather, prior job duration, or unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant delays.

You agree to provide accurate contact information, address details, and a description of the appliance issue when scheduling service. Inaccurate information may result in delays or rescheduling.

3. Diagnostic Fee & Pricing

A flat diagnostic fee applies to every service call. This fee covers the technician’s time to inspect and diagnose your appliance. Following diagnosis you will receive a full written quote for the repair before any work begins. We do not perform repair work without your approval of the quoted price.

If you decline to proceed with the recommended repair after diagnosis, the diagnostic fee remains payable. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the total repair cost as outlined at the time of service.

Pricing for parts and labor reflects the complexity of the repair, the appliance brand and model, and current part availability. Prices are subject to change without notice but any change will always be communicated to you and approved before work proceeds.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as made available at the time of service. For customers using a home warranty provider, we will coordinate billing directly with your provider where applicable; you remain responsible for any deductible or non-covered charges.

5. 90-Day Warranty

All repairs completed by Abilene Appliance Repair Co. are covered by a 90-day warranty on parts and labor related to the specific repair performed. If the same issue we repaired recurs within 90 days of the service date, we will return and correct it at no additional charge.

This warranty does not cover new or unrelated issues that arise after the original repair, damage caused by misuse, accidents, power surges, acts of nature, unauthorized repair attempts by third parties, or normal wear and tear unrelated to the original repair. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and service address.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide our technicians with safe and reasonable access to the appliance requiring service, including clearing a working area where needed. You are responsible for ensuring that any pets are secured during the service visit. If a technician determines that conditions at the property are unsafe, we reserve the right to reschedule or decline service.

7. Parts & Materials

We use quality replacement parts appropriate for your appliance brand and model. Where original equipment manufacturer parts are unavailable or impractical, we will discuss alternative options with you before proceeding. If a required part must be specially ordered, we will provide an estimated timeframe for completion and keep you informed of any delays.

8. Limitation of Liability

Abilene Appliance Repair Co. will perform all services with reasonable skill and care. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, unrelated mechanical failures, or damage resulting from the age, condition, or prior repair history of the appliance that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of service.

To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of food, loss of use, or other secondary losses.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment by contacting us directly. We ask for as much advance notice as possible so we can offer the time slot to another customer. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect future scheduling priority.
